                                          II CIAD Held in Brazil
Stevie Wonder, Abdoulaye Wade (President of Senegal), Wangari Maathai ( 2004 Nobel Peace Prize winner), African and
Brazilian heads of state, artists, scholars, community activist and religious leaders came together in Brazil. The
conference was about reclaiming African ancestry, celebrating the black history and strengthening the positionof the
people of the Diaspora economically, socially and politically on the world stage.
